Jameel Purnell lands All-GSAC, All-Region honors

VINELAND - For the first time in 3 seasons, RCSJ-Cumberland Mens Basketball lands a spot on the All-Region Team.  Additionally, the first time in 6 seasons, the a member of the Mens Basketball team lands 1st-Team All-GSAC honors.

Jameel Purnell's dynamic collegiate debut season garnered major attention from Region XIX and the Garden State Athletic Conference as Purnell was named 2nd Team All-Region and 1st Team All-GSAC.  The freshman from Bridgeton led the team in points/game (19.0), rebounds/game (13), steals/game (3.5), assists/game (2.6), and blocks/game (2.4).

Purnell was named GSAC Player of the Week twice this season and named NJCAA National Player of the Week once.
