Jameel Purnell named GSAC Basketball Player of the Week

VINELAND - The GSAC Basketball Committee has named freshman guard, Jameel Purnell, the D3 GSAC Basketball Player of the week for the week of November 23.  Purnell was Mr. Reliable once again for the Dukes in their victory against Atlantic Cape on Tuesday, 11/25. The freshman guard scored 23 points while grabbing 14 rebounds, 5 steals, and blocking 5 Buccaneer shots. He added two assists late the in the game to seal the Dukes 3rd victory of the season. Purnell currently averages 18 points, 12 rebounds, a block, and 3 steals per game so far this season.
