Cumberland XC opens season at Roadrunner Invtiational

SEWELL - The Cumberland Dukes Cross Country team kicked off their 2021 campaign at the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunner Invitational.  Damien Grooms and Diego Velazquez-Cruz represented the Dukes as Ezriela Chaniz-Rico was unable to participate due to injury.

Grooms turned in a time of 23:25 while Diego Velazquez-Cruz submitted a strong 25:58 in his debut race for the Dukes.

The Dukes will next be on the course this coming Saturday as they travel to Salisbury, MD for the Don Cathcart Invitational.
