Golf primed for GSAC Championships
VINELAND - RCSJ-Cumberland golf will compete as a full squad in Wednesday's GSAC Championships for the first time in nearly 4 decades when they tee off at Flanders Valley. For the first time ever, Dukes Women's Golf will compete in the championships as Ashley Brag will tee up for the Dukes.
Mateo Medina, the overall indvidual leader in Region XIX, is in primed position to add to his stellar Dukes career. Perry Stanger and Carson Ippolito looks to be strong contenders individually but also to help bolster the Dukes overall team score along with Brian Hoadley and Brendan Ricciardi.
"We're excited to compete and I think the group will do well in the championship setting," Kyle Cerana said. Cerana is in his second year as the head Golf coach for the Dukes and has brought golf to the new heights in his short time at the helm.
