Bio

On February 24th, 2026, Giovanni Badalamenti was officially named Senior Administrative Assistant.

A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Wilmington University, Giovanni holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and an Associate degree in Computer Graphic Arts from Rowan College at Gloucester County. Combining formal education with nearly a decade of professional experience, he has built a career at the intersection of athletics, digital media, and visual storytelling.

Giovanni specializes in athletics, digital media, and brand development. His background in design, photography, and athletics allows him to create content that is both visually compelling and strategically effective. His creative journey began in 2015 on an HP laptop, selling designs for as little as $0.50 through PayPal. Ironically, he once thought art was "for nerds" a mindset that made it all the more fitting when he eventually became an Art major. What started as a hobby to pass the time quickly evolved into a career spanning more than a decade of freelance and professional creative work.

Throughout his career, Giovanni has collaborated with and freelanced for universities, colleges, professional sports organizations, and media brands, including Wilmington University, Saint Joseph's University, FIBA, Bleacher Report Gaming, the Austin Ekeler Foundation, and the Philadelphia Union. His work has also been featured on platforms such as B/R Gaming, Overtime, Playmaker, and the Oklahoma City Thunder's social media channels. Through these partnerships, he has produced thousands of graphics, photographs, and marketing assets that have helped organizations engage audiences, strengthen their brands, and tell impactful stories.

Looking to take his career in athletics even further, Giovanni joined the Cumberland Dukes as Senior Administrative Assistant, where he supports the continued growth and success of the athletic department.

Giovanni resides in his hometown of West Deptford with his family.
