Dukes honor Winter/Spring Athletes
VINELAND - On May 20, the Cumberland Athletics Department recognized members of their Winter and Spring Athletics Programs during a wonderful ceremony held in the Cunningham Center. Dr. Piccone, VP and Chief Administrator Officer of RCSJ-Cumberland served as the keynote speaker and he touched on the time and dedication necessary to compete in Collegiate Athletics from the students and families. Director of Athletics, Jonathan Dijamco, led the night as Master of Ceremonies and highlighted the many accomplishments of the Dukes during the two seasons. "This is always a fun occassion for the staff as we get to slow everything down and truly appreciate everything that the coaches and students have provided to the college," Dijamco said. "During the season, we are always on the move, looking towards the next game. Here, we're able to stop, reflect, and fully show our gratitude. We are very lucky to be in the positions we are in surrounded by great people".
