On August 21, 2019, Jonathan "JD" Dijamco was officially announced as Director of Athletics.

Jonathan has been a member of the Cumberland County College community since 2012 as an assistant coach and the recruiting coordinator for the Dukes Baseball Team.  While a member of the baseball coaching staff at Cumberland, the Dukes have experienced unprecedented success by winning two Garden State Athletic Conference titles (2014, 2017), two region 19 titles (2014, 2017), and clinching a berth in the National Championship game in 2014.  The Dukes reached the ultimate goal in 2019, by winning the NJCAA DIII National Championship defeating Rowan-Gloucester, 11-7. Cumberland has been ranked in the Top 10 of the NJCAA polls each year since 2014, and has held the #1 ranking for a minimum of 5 weeks in 2014 and 2017.  Arguably, the Dukes have been the best NJCAA DIII Baseball Program in the country by having the most wins amongst all programs since 2014. Most importantly, a large number of Dukes Baseball players have gone on to continue their careers at the NCAA Level, many of them receiving full athletic scholarships.  Lastly, 6 former players of the Dukes Baseball program have been selected in the MLB Draft since 2014 (2015 - Cody Stashak, Joe Zanghi; 2017 - Will Latcham; 2019 - Dan Goggin, Mike Miles, Jo Jo Rodriguez).

Dijamco joined the Cumberland County College administrative staff on February 1, 2018 when he was named the Assistant Director of Student Life & Athletics. Since that time, three athletic programs have reached the Region XIX Final Four, including 2 Region Championship berths and 1 National Championship.

Prior to joining the Cumberland Athletics & Student Life Department, Jonathan served in leadership roles in a variety of industries.  After graduating with a degree in Business Management from St. Joseph's University (PA) in 2009, Jonathan was hired and subsequently placed in the "Future Leaders" Program of Nordstrom, Inc., one of the most successful retail companies in the United States.  Throughout his time as a department manager at Nordstrom, Jonathan earned Manager of Month awards 9 times.  His next stop led him to the finance sector as he became a client service associate at Hanlon Financial Group in Bargaintown, NJ.  While at Hanlon, Jonathan gained valuable experience in the vast field of the finance industry which would serve him well in next position as Director of Athletic Advancement at St. Augustine Prep in Richland, NJ.

As the Director of Athletic Advancement at "The Prep", Jonathan led the fundraising efforts for the 22 Varsity Programs of the well-recognized Hermits Athletic Department.  During his time at St. Augustine Prep, Jonathan organized a number of programs and events such as the inaugural "Hermits 5K", which benefitted the Hermits Track & Field Program and the Boys Girls Club of Atlantic City, and establishing a fundraising program for the fast-growing Hermits Rugby program.  Jonathan was also the manager of the 'Prep Shop', the on-campus store of St. Augustine Prep, and was involved with Alumni Engagement.  Additionally, Jonathan assisted in the organization of the inaugural "Hermits at the Beach", the first summer gathering of school alums in Avalon, NJ.

As mentioned, Jonathan graduated from St. Joseph's University (PA) in 2009 with a degree in Business Management and is currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Sport Management from Southern New Hampshire University.  Jonathan was an infielder for two years before becoming an assistant coach for the St. Joseph's Hawks for the following three years.  Jonathan resides in Millville with his wife, Katie.
