Women's Soccer Ties Cecil in Home Opener

After jumping out to an early lead, the Dukes squandered a two goal advantage on their way to a 3-3 in their season opener at home.  Cumberland led by a score of 3-1 halfway through the first half, when Ivy Mumo brought Cecil back on her own.  Mumo scored all three goals for the visiting Seahawks.

Jasmine Miro scored two goals for the Dukes and freshman Brianna Harper played well, scoring a goal and assisting on another. Goalkeeper Danielle Cowgill recorded seven saves on the afternoon.  Cumberland will play its next game this Saturday at Northampton Community College.
