Dukes Run Past Buccaneers

The Dukes have now won nine straight games since their first and only loss of the season.  With a decisive 110-60 win over the Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape Community College, the Dukes sit at 19-1 overall.  Sophomore Jasmine Miro connected on 8 of 14 from downtown on her way to a 28 points night.  Bridgeton sophomore Jovan Childers follwed up Miro's performance with 26 points of her own.  Tamyra Smith, Sahara Lopez, and Caroline rounded out the five Dukes in double-figures with all three scoring 16 ponts each.  Lopez added 7 rebounds and 7 assists and Santiago pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds.  The Dukes will look to pick up their twentieth win of the season in what will be a tough conference road battle at Middlesex County College.  The Dukes nipped the Colts 90-88 in a thrilling overtime affair back in December.
