After leading by eleven at the break, Cumberland never shut the door on a young Ocean team and Vikings kept climbing back into game. But it was a trio of Dukes that made sure Ocean could not come all the way back. Sophomore Alicia Cox led the Dukes in scoring with 26 points, her fifth straight game with at least 20 points. Cox also added 10 rebounds and 6 steals to the stat sheet. The other two Dukes that came up big were freshmen Mackenzie Wimberg and Kyra Lunsford. Lunsford chipped in with 13 points and Wimberg recorded her second consecutive double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Ocean County College received 20 points from Corrine Morgan and 16 points from Amber Nafziger. With the victory, Cumberland is now 17-1 on the season and will travel to Hostos Community College (NY) for a Saturday Noon tip-off.
