Cox Named National Player of the Week

Stepping into the spotlight in the Dukes' lone game last week, Cox cleared the way for Cumberland's 76-63 win over Bergen CC (N.J.). The sophomore knocked down 9-of-16 shots from the field and sunk 8-of-10 free throws for a team-high 27 points. Cox was a terror on the defensive end of the court, picking away 11 steals in the victory. Adding to her numbers, Cox also dished out nine assists and pulled down six rebounds.
