Ending the Year on a High Note

The Cumberland Women finished off the 2012 year with a decisive 87-54 victory over Middlesex.  The Dukes opened up the game on a big run and cruised into the half with a 45-19 lead.  Alicia Cox led the way with a game-high 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 steals.  Tess Elder and Shanece Howard each chipped in with 13 points. The Dukes will now head into the back part of the season at 13-1 overall and 8-1 in the Garden State Athletic Conference.  Cumberland will resume play on January 12th the when they travel to Bergen Community College.
