After leading 39-36 at halftime, the Dukes were outscored 63-34 in the second half and Passaic handed Cumberland a 99-73 loss Thursday night. The Dukes shot poorly from the line and from the field all night. Despite the poor shooting, Cumberland had a three point lead with leading scorer Hikeem Pruitt sitting the last ten minutes of the first half in foul trouble. The Dukes missed a total of twenty free throws and only shot 25% from outside the arc. Freshman Olajuwon Rainner led the Dukes with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Jesse Jones (Passaic) led all scorers with 29, and Chris Murphey added 23 points for the Panthers. With the loss, the Dukes drop to 6-9 overall and 5-6 in the conference. They will travel to Union County College on Saturday for a 2pm tip.
