Behind four Buccaneers in double-figures, Atlantic Cape paced themselves to a 70-51 victory. Arlene Craig scored a game high 17 points and sophomores Kerry Player and Darice Collier each chipped in for 16. For the Dukes, Alicia Cox scored 14 points, all of which came in the 2nd half. The Dukes drop to 20-2 overall and still sit on top of the Garden State Athletic Conference at 13-2.
The Atlantic Cape men completed the double header sweep on their way to an 85-67 victory over the Cumberland men. Late in the second half, the Dukes cut what was a 22 point deficit in half but the Dukes squandered numerous opportunites to get it down to single digits. A late run by the Buccaneers closed the door and put the game out of reach. Armin Cane led Atlantic Cape in scoring with 16 points and Tyler Hillgrube scored a game-high 23 points for the Dukes.
