Cumberland Men Come Up Short

After coming back from an eleven point deficit at halftime, the Dukes rallied but came up a basket short falling to Middlesex 84-82.  At one point in the game, the Dukes took the lead 63-60.  From that moment, Middlesex and Cumberland exchanged punches the rest of the way with Middlesex landing the final knock-out blows down the stetch.  Fans attending this exciting game saw a player from each team score 30 points.  For the Dukes, Tyler Hillgrube reached that mark on a 12 of 24 shooting performance, adding 5 points from the charity stripe.  Bryant Webb poured in 30 of his own and gave the Dukes' guards fits all afternoon.  Cumberland falls to 1-14 on the season and will be off until January 12th when they travel to Bergen Community College.
